About Us
Pacific Sprinklers is a family owned environmentally responsible company based in the Kootenays, BC, Canada.
Pacific Sprinklers manufactures its own high quality “Rainforest Sprinklers” line and distributes other irrigation accessories throughout the world. Rainforest Sprinklers have been in production since 1986 and are one of the most sought after lawn & garden sprinklers in Canada; owner Mark Loran is an organic gardening enthusiast and carries his own strong ecological beliefs through to the company.
Our Name
The “Rainforest” name describes the amazing fine rain/mist that the sprinkler head produces, the sprinklers are known for their low water usage, reliability
(having only one moving part), uniform controllable coverage up to 1900sq ft and ability to work on water pressure from a low of 20 p.s.i. This has made the sprinklers a huge hit with people on “well” systems (who because of their low water pressure have previously been unable to use sprinklers in their gardens). The sprinklers work up to a high pressure of 80 p.s.i which is ideal for professional growers and orchards who link multiple sprinklers together.
Rainforest Sprinklers are currently available in Canada, USA, Great Britain and Australia.
World’s First Recycled Sprinker
We are now proud to have introduced our first, and we think the world’s first, 100% recycled lawn & garden sprinkler with the same water saving qualities as all our sprinklers but made from 100% recycled plastic.
With the success and incredible positive reaction we received to our first recycled product we are now enthusiastically introducing our second recycled product – the #151 Flat Base Sprinkler. We are working towards integrating more recycled products while keeping them affordable for the everyday gardener who wants to make a difference to the environment.
Environmental Program
Pacific Sprinklers uses very little packaging, reuses boxes where possible, recycles all packing material and creates little to no waste in our warehouse facility. All our sprinklers are assembled in BC Canada, our “riser pipes ” are made in the USA and we source materials in North America when ever possible to save on transport pollution.
